How they’re made
Our plantation shutters, available in a great variety of styles, sizes, materials, and finish, are made with the use of state-of-the-art automated equipment, core competence, and solid expertise. By practicing a custom-made approach, we produce highly affordable and fabulously beautiful shutters that fully fit a window’s unique size, style, and shape.
If you are a perfectionist, you will definitely appreciate our shutters that are made to the specific dimensions of your windows to ensure a lifelong operation without any mouse holes around the frame.
We start the production of our plantation shutters with a thorough estimation of your individual windows to bring an inspiring outcome to your home.
Then the fabrication is continued in our factory shop where we have innovative cutting and assembling equipment that allows for the accuracy up to 1/1,000th of an inch. We cut necessary intermediate goods (rails, slats, and stiles) for a certain set of louvers.
Next, we turn our attention to the corresponding tenons and mortises that will support a frame. Once mortises are clear-cut, we start making louvers by carefully spacing and paralleling the grooves for the slats to design eye catching shutters.
When all the details are ready, we go on the shutter assembling by getting all louvers in their slots and tenons in the appropriate mortises.
The final step of a production is applying the desirable finish and paint color to the louvered shutters.
The process seems complicated, but not for our seasoned masters! With care and dedication, they create masterpieces within your deadlines and requirements because we fully understand: long wait times is not what you expect even when dealing with custom-made premium shutters.
